As the Course Director for Cosmetic Surgery Forum 2013, a forum jointly sponsored by Evolve Medical Education and Cosmetic Surgery Forum, LLC, I would like to cordially invite you to participate alongside your resident(s) in this educational forum taking place December 5 through December 7, 2013 at the ARIA, Las Vegas.
We at Cosmetic Surgery Forum recognize that Program Directors are a vital part of the residency experience and we appreciate your show of support by allowing your residents to participate in this year's event. In recognition of this, we would like to welcome you to participate in the conference sessions (worth 18 CME credits) as our guest.
The goal of this certified CME forum is to improve physician competence in applying current clinically relevant data and expert strategies in cosmetic surgery and dermatology. An important part of this goal is to help dermatologists and other care providers by featuring practical tips and innovative solutions to cosmetic surgery and dermatology challenges. Key aspects of the activity will include improving clinician understanding of the scientific concepts and clinical data related to neurotoxin therapy (Botox and Dysport), cosmetic dermal fillers, skin lighteners, cosmeceuticals, fat treatments, and developments in the pipeline. Also included will be analysis and discussion of risk management in medical practice, problem-solving and proper patient disclosure, as well as patient communication and privacy issues. Additionally, we have sessions with media experts designed to increase media savvy to help gain beneficial exposure as residents build new careers.
A key element of any meeting is discussion, and this course is designed to facilitate dialogue among all participants in a collegial atmosphere. We look forward to having you join the conversation!
