Haines Ely M.D. is a clinical professor of dermatology at U.C. Davis but spends his days with UC Davis residents at Mather Field VA Hospital in Sacramento. He also does telederm for all of Northern California at the VA. It is his ideal retirement. The vets are a wonderful group, with huge skin cancers, and much need of dermatologic care. However, his cosmetic skills are not yet adapted to this group. He spends his leisure time talking to dermatologists all over the world on rxderm-l, a list he inherited from Art Huntley M.D., walking with his bride Jennifer, and conversing with his scruffy little brown dog, Connor. He also plays lawn darts with the neighborhood children.
Residents will present individual cases and research in consideration for presentation in the main sessions and for publication in Cutis. These case abstracts are listed by presentation groups in the back of your program guide. Please feel free to sit on any and all of the Resident Presentations that are of interest to you!
