After graduating from the University of Florida College of Medicine with the highest honors, San Francisco cosmetic surgeon Dr. Maas matriculated an internship in General Surgery Head-and-Neck Surgery residency at the St. Louis University College of Medicine and completed his specialty training with a fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco. His academic and clinical achievements earned him a full-time faculty appointment, serving as Chief of the Division of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery for more than 11 years.

For the last two and a half decades, Dr. Maas has dedicated himself to helping advance the field of facial plastic surgery with groundbreaking clinical research, receiving countless honors and awards for his endeavors, including the prestigious Sir Harold Delf Gilles Award from the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
