H.L. Greenberg, M.D., is the owner and founder of Las Vegas Dermatology and a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Nevada School of Medicine where he lectures on dermatology, advises medical students interested in dermatology and has medical resident rotators in his office. Dr. Greenberg is a board certified dermatologist experienced in all facets of dermatology including medical, surgical, and cosmetic procedures. Dr. Greenberg graduated college with distinction from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, medical school at Wayne State University School of Medicine in downtown Detroit, and spent three years as an Internal Medicine resident at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC before beginning his formal dermatology training as a cutaneous oncology fellow and first year dermatology resident at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Later he transferred to Scott & White of the Texas A&M University Health System where he served as the Chief Dermatology Resident and gained specialized experience in Mohs micrographic surgery.

Dr. Greenberg started Las Vegas Dermatology in 11/2007 with a focus on the patient experience and the end goal of providing for a healthier & more beautiful life. In his private practice beginning, the challenges were financial and Dr. Greenberg nearly went bankrupt trying to get Las Vegas Dermatology growing. Having weathered the growing pains of a new practice, Las Vegas Dermatology has since experienced exponential growth with 5,000 square feet of new office space in 9/2013, aestheticians, a physician assistant, new computers, a comprehensive and effective electronic medical record, and multiple lasers for wrinkles, blood vessels, unwanted hair, and unwanted tattoo ink. As part of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery’s political outreach organization, Dr. Greenberg serves as the lone SANDS advocate for the state of Nevada and was instrumental in getting an under 18 year old indoor tanning ban for the state of Nevada. In his spare time, Dr. Greenberg travels, runs half marathons and enjoys making music and videos on his YouTube.
